Showtime!
It has been a busy day, with Amy and Catherine changing the exhibit in our display case upstairs to “All the Colours of the Rainbow”, while Denise, Diane and I installed the RCA window show downstairs. And tonight Catherine will be taking Guild members’ work to the library for our yearly pre-sale display in their showcase.
Thank you to everyone who has provided many wonderful fibre pieces for the display cases and many skeins of beautiful hand spun yarn for the RCA window. I hope our display reflects your diligence, expertise and creativity.
Items from the Bags Bags Bags display and remaining handspun are in the Guild studio. Please forgive me: the remaining skeins are no longer nicely sorted by creator. I hope to come and organize a little when I have time.
Going back to the weekend, thank you to Lindsey and Deb for their spinning demonstrations at ArtWalk. It created interest in spinning, the fibre arts in general and our Ponderosa Fibre Arts Guild.
The windows are difficult to photograph, so enjoy all the displays in person when you can.
