All the Colours of the Rainbow
Time to celebrate Pride, Guild members!
It's almost time for a new display to go into our display case and Amy Bradshaw is volunteering to be our guest curator. Here is her request for your support for the next fabulous show:
Let’s come together with bright and beautiful colours in a supportive display that acknowledges diversity of sexual orientation, diversity of human characteristics, and ethnic diversity as a whole.
Monochromatic Colour Scheme!
Call for brightly colored fibre works primarily in one solid colour:
Red, orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo, violet, brown, black
Knitwear and weavings, scarves, tea towels, blankets, shawls, fiber art collage, needle felted sculptures and figures, etc.
Call for brightly colored materials and fibre:
Dyed and hand spun yarns, colorful fleece, buttons, etc.
The goal is to style our display case with handmade pieces and materials provided by members. Everything and anything welcome.
