Rotary Centre Display - January 2025
Just like the festive season, our display term at city hall has come and gone. Thanks to Flannery and her students we have an interesting exhibit in our display case upstairs.
The Rotary Centre has offered their windows to us from the end of January into March with a likely extension into April and May. With their proximity to the ticket desk, music venue, restaurant and theatre these three windows have great exposure. We are planning to showcase toques, hats and scarves. It is a "back to basics in a wonderful way" display that will impress with the variety and numbers we will show within these categories.
WE NEED YOUR CONTRIBUTION! Some of you have already passed on items or left them in the guild studio. We would like your woven, knitted felted or crochet handmade toques and hats and scarves. As usual we will choose from your generous offerings to try to design an attractive, eye catching display.
Installation is scheduled for January 22, so please make your contribution available before that date. If needed, we will try to accommodate pick up and various drop off points. E-mail me at apallett@shaw.ca or text me at 250 878 6078 if you like to arrange something.
