Workshop Details
Boost your Rigid Heddle Loom skills by joining us for a one day workshop weaving a scarf using a clasp warp. A clasp warp enables a weaver to change colours in the warp threads, and gives a very unique look to your finished project. This technique is particularly effective on Rigid Heddle looms, where participants can easily manipulate two yarn sources simultaneously. Clasp warp weaving is a versatile and enjoyable technique that can add depth and colour to your weaving projects, making it a great addition to any weaver's skill set. The Guild has rigid heddle looms that you can borrow if needed, please email us to let us know, ponderosaguild@gmail.com. A Materials list will be sent out two weeks before the class starts. Dates: June 14 Time: 9:00-4:30pm Location: Guild Studio, Room 204 at the RCA Guild Members use Coupon Code FIBREART2021 at checkout for $10 off this workshop.
