Emoji Broach: Felt + Stitch

Workshop Details

Create your own pictorial icon with fibre, express an idea or an emotion with stitch and needle felting. Starting with a wool base, you will use felting needles to create the main body of the design. Afterwards the broach will be completed by stuffing it and adding a pin back. By the end of this workshop each participant will have finished a small wearable art emoji brooch. It will serve as a communication tool, being either a direct or nuanced emotion for you to display. Beginners welcome and materials provided.
