Upwolfing is a unique way of felting using a special mat that gives you a fascinating design element. This class will give you the opportunity to create designs using a small mat. The technique uses merino-prefelt strips that are manipulated in the holes of the mat that create buds of felt. The created fabric can be used for numerous applications. This is a class for both beginners and those with advanced skills. The technique was created by the Dutch felt artist Irene Van der Wolf. Class will be taught by Judith Mueller. She is a mixed media visual and felt artist with a BFA from UBCO. Date: Sunday, October 1, 2023 Time: 11 -3 pm $85 All supplies will be provided by the instructor.
