Workshop Details

Australian Locker-hooking is a simple technique to create beautiful pieces-from traditional saddle pads to rugs, chair pads and table hot mats. A great way to use your stash of roving or yarn. Your fiber of choice is pulled up through a open grid canvas and locked in place so it cannot come undone. Jen of Cattails Fibre Farm will be teaching the class and she will bring a selection of Mohair roving for participants to use. If you have 200g of roving or bulky weight yarn you would like you use please bring it along. Participants will be provided with canvas and a latch hook. You will be able to buy fibre from the instructor if needed ($40 for 200g). Participants will need to bring a large eye tapestry needle for hemming and tucking the ends. Date: June 15 Time: 10-2pm Guild Members use Coupon Code FIBREART2021 at checkout for $10 off this workshop.
