Workshop Details

Amy Bradshaw Kelowna based mixed media fiber artist and (Guild) member, invites the general public, guild members and their extended family, i.e. children or grandchildren to join in making mobiles. Amy often gathers natural materials from the coastline of Vancouver Island, where she grew up in the Comox Valley whenever she visits. It will be with these materials, gathered from the beach along with some of the items from her stash that we will make the mobiles with. Amy will demonstrate how to make a small, wet felted shape that can be incorporated into your design. Supplies included: driftwood, shells, acrylic paint, twine, beads, and wool. Feel free to bring any charms, sticks, other other found objects you would like to add to your mobile. Date: July 8 Time: 10-1pm Location: Studio 204 in the RCA Guild Members use Coupon Code FIBREART2021 at checkout for $10 off this workshop.
