Workshop Details

This class is about colour combinations and how colours work together. It gives you the possibility to explore colour theory, to try colours other than your go-to choices and the possiblity to move beyond simple. All yarns are included – hand-dyed DK weight yarn will be used to create granny squares. You will have lots of choice. The class works with the basic granny square pattern. You will need to bring your own crochet hook (4 - 4.5mm) and know basic crochet. It is often difficult to pick colours for projects as the unknown of how they will look together is daunting. Even though you think you like the combination, once you start you see it doesn’t work. Find out why and what you can do to change it. Join for a day of exploring colour that will make your next colour choices much easier This class is taught by Judith Mueller BFA and fibre artist. Most of the yarns used have been dyed by her using acid dyes and superwash merino wool, DK weight (size 3). Date: June 21 Time: 10 – 3 pm Cost: $85
