Beginner Rigid Heddle Weaving

Workshop Details

During this 2 evening class you'll be weaving a scarf using wool yarn and a rigid heddle loom. These small, portable looms are the perfect introduction to weaving. Class 1 will be a brief intro to weaving terminology, warping your loom and starting to weave. In Class 2 you will finish your project, and we'll discuss finishing, fringes and fulling. Included in the class fee is the use of one of our Ashford looms for your project which you can take home with you between class dates. Materials are not included. You will receive an email from your instructor with information about the materials you will need to bring to the class.
